WVC is a contemporary Christian church. Our mission is to help people develop a real relationship with Jesus by applying the knowledge of God’s Word. We strive to make an impact in our community, our nation, and the world with the truth of Christ.
Our Pastors
Shawn and Andrea are the founders of World Victory Church in Moody, Alabama. With just a handful of people, WVC held its first service in the living room of our pastor’s home in 1996. The ministry purchased 4 acres with 2 buildings in 2007, and there are plans to build a larger sanctuary on its most recent acquisition of 16 acres on Hwy 411. Shawn and Andrea have two sons, Caleb (wife – Jessica) and Nathanael, and one grandson (Troy). Pastor Shawn is a professional pilot and has also authored the book, Unbelief – The Only Hindrance to Receiving from God. Mrs. Andrea serves the City of Moody as the Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce and she is also the Director of Economic Development.

How We Assemble
WVC is a non-denominational, multi-cultural, multi-generational place of worship for everyone. Lives are transformed by a simple approach to praise & worship and the teaching of God’s Word.
Join us on Sunday’s at 10 AM and Wednesday’s at 7 PM.
What You Can Expect
Every service begins with praise & worship (typically around 15 minutes), followed by a life lesson delivered by our Pastor. The WVC Kidz meet every Sunday and Wednesday. On Sunday’s, the children have their own “kidz-style” praise followed by Biblical lessons taught on their level with other children that are their age. Student Life (Youth) meet on Wednesday nights and Nursery is provided for every service.
