The Story Behind The Name:

In 2015, one of the members at WVC was in a car accident; she was 36 weeks pregnant.  Because of the time it took to rescue her from the car, there was little hope given by the medical team for the survival of her baby.  The WVC family prayed, standing with the family for a miracle….and God answered!  Levi was born and his perfect and healthy recovery shocked the doctors and the hospital staff.  Little did we know how important Levi’s life would mean to so many people.  At the age of 6, Levi was in one of our regular Children’s Church classes.  On that particular day, there was a special guest showing the classroom different pictures and videos of children in need on the mission field.  A fire was born in little Levi that day and he and his family helped orchestrate a powerful incentive to help everyone in need. Since that day, we have seen so many lives changed, and it was a supernatural spark that started with the Holy Spirit moving on a 6 year old boy.  Our Mission Outreach was named in honor of his name, and the meaning behind his name is just as powerful: “To Join or Connect”. We thrive to help people who are in need, “connecting” them back to the Father’s love.  Through this powerful ministry, we not only participate in foreign mission trips, but we also touch lives by helping people in our local community.
